The
electromechanical model Lift is spring pressurized brake operated by DC
voltage. They confirm to the normative rule 95/96/CE for goods and passenger
lifts. These are most modern & advanced brakes for elevator applications and
are highly suited for use with the new gearless drive system used in modern
day elevators. There are double brakes operating in tandem. The braking
torque generated by one of the brakes is sufficient for standard operation.
However double brakes and hence double torque value is used to ensure
safety.

silence operation while in rotation. The precise matching of the hub and
the disk, and the insertion of a centering gasket, prohibit the noise that
is normally generated during rotation.

construction of the brake with the two armature plates and a fixed central
part ensures the releasing of the disks during their rotation.
